Kristin K.'s Bowl and Mat

This bowl and mat represent the women that made me feel whole again.

After a breakup, I found myself in a new town. I felt alone and woefully ill-prepared to make new friends in my mid-thirties. I ended up throwing myself into yoga, where I met an incredible group of women.

They provided a safe, nurturing, and empowering space to grow and heal. As a way to show my gratitude, I held regular soup nights at my house where we all talked, drank, shared recipes, and learned so much about each other over empty bowls and clinking glasses.

I felt so honored to turn my home into the same welcoming, open space that they create for me.
